After hitting .351 as a rookie with San Francisco in 1984, Dan "Man from Gladden" played an important role on two World Series championship teams in Minnesota. Following a solid 11 year Major League career, the Dazzle Man journeyed to Japan for the 1994 season. A member of the renowned Yomiuri Giants, he helped lead the team to a Japan Series championship, as the Giants defeated the Seibu Lions in six games. Following his one season playing in Japan, Gladden retired from baseball.

This game worn 1994 Dan Gladden Yomiuri Giants uniform is a gorgeous gray button-down knit (with Descente buttons). "Tokyo 32" appears across the chest and Gladden's name and uniform number are seen on the back. "Giants" is sewn on the left sleeve in black and orange knit twill and a Yomiuri Giants 60th anniversary patch is on the right sleeve. Interior tagging includes a "Tamazawa Baseball Collection" label and another tag denoting the serial number, year ("94"), player number ("32") and the Japanese text, "Giants new player, Gladden".

Game used Japan Pro Baseball jerseys are quite difficult to acquire. Traditionally, all equipment is thought to be the property of the team and is not to be removed from the clubhouse by the player for personal use.

Size: There is no size tag, but Gladden was listed at 5' ll", 180 lbs.

Condition: Good game use.
