This 1000 yen reserved ticket is for the first game of the Tour, played on 10/22 against the Mainichi Orions. The Yankees won 10-2 behind pitcher Tommy Byrne, with Elston Howard blasting two homers. Japanese Hall of Famer Masaichi Kaneda took the loss.

During the 16 game series, normally light hitting Andy Carey led the Bombers with seven homers. Surprisingly, Mickey Mantle did not hit a single ball out of the park.
