The blue magazine with the Mickey Mantle cover has always been one of the most requested pieces of Japanese memorabilia. This copy is one of the higher grade examples that we've seen. Published by Sunday Mainichi, it is devoted entirely to the 1955 New York Yankees Tour of Japan. The Mick appears here on what is generally considered to be his most attractive Japanese cover. The first eight pages are large black and white photos of each Yankee with names printed in English.
