In 1958, Wally Yonamine was coming off a spectacular 1957 season in which he led the Central League in batting average at .343 and was named the league's MVP, leading the Yomiuri Giants to their third consecutive Central League title.
However, 1958 was also the year that Yonamine began to slip a bit, batting "only" .293, as rookie Shigeo Nagashima began to take the hitting limelight away from the Hawaiian superstar. This JF 24b large size card contains Yonamine's
name printed in Japanese at lower right, and also his facsimile autograph. Blank backed.
