This set was originally produced as an uncut sheet with 52 cards and 2 jokers. There are eight cards of baseball players in the set--four cards of Shigeo Nagashima and four cards of Masaichi Kaneda (next lot). Based on Kaneda's uniform style and Nagashima's rookie year being 1958, we know that the set was produced in either 1958 or 1959. Therefore, the Nagashima cards may be rookie cards. Each card of Nagashima in this lot contains a menko number at the top, and the name of a color, season of the year and playing card from left to right across the bottom.
Size: Each card is approximately 1 1/2" x 2 1/2".
Condition: Near Mint to Mint, handcut from a sheet.
