This large paper lists complete rosters for the eight teams that competed in Japan Pro Baseball during the 1941 season. The Yomiuri Giants were champions that year. Also included are images of 24 prominent players--three players per team. Among these images are eight Japan Hall of Famers: Sadayoshi Fujimoto, Tetsuharu Kawakami, Shigeru Chiba, Henry "Bozo" Wakabayashi (Hawaii), Kenjiro Matsuki, Hisanori Karita, Jiro Noguchi and Michinori Tsubouchi. Also included with an image is Hawaiian Mamoru Sugitaya. Interestingly, one name listed in the roster of the Yomiuri Giants is Hiroshi Suda, a pseudonym for Victor Starffin. Starffin was forced to change his name to a Japanese name during World War II! Another exceptional feature of this member sheet is the photos of players from short lived franchises such as Kurowashi and Asahi. Images of players wearing these uniforms are quite scarce. Blank backed.
