This is a ticket to a legendary game!  In 1934, Harvard University was invited to play a series of baseball games in Japan by Keio University. Although Harvard won all of their games during a stopover in Hawaii, they won only four of the ten games against Tokyo Big Six University League teams in Japan. The ticket offered here is for the game of September 5 against Waseda University. Waseda pummeled Harvard by a score of 17 to 2. Despite their clear victory, the Japanese team gallantly presented the game trophy to the Harvard players. The trophy is still held by the Harvard athletic department. This is an infield ticket which has been punched, meaning that it was actually used for admission to the game.
