This is one of ony two known examples known of this card. Katsumi Shiraishi was a member of the 1936 Tokyo Giants in the inaugural year of Japan Pro Baseball. Subsequently, he played 18 seasons for three different teams. Then, he became manager of the Hiroshima Carp for 18 years. He was inducted into the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985. Cards from this set are rarely seen, as many were redeemed for prizes. The front contains Shiraishi's league and team, surname and position, and an explanation as to what the card is, all printed in black Japanese text on three lines. The back, also printed in Japanese, has "Calbee Caramel" printed at the top, along with a list of prizes which can be redeemed if enough cards are collected from the set. The coupon originally found at the bottom of the card has been removed. This is an extremely rare card.
