O'Doul was elected to the Japan Hall of Fame in 2002 for his contributions to baseball in Japan. He is one of four Americans enshrined. Lefty played for the U.S. All Star team in Japan during the Tours of 1931 and 1934, and later organized a number of postwar Tours, including the 1949 San Francisco Seals Tour of Japan, which was one of the first peacetime cultural exchanges between the U.S. and Japan following the war. "Frank O'Doul, Manager" is printed in Japanese on this blank backed card.

Condition: The card has a number of surface imperfections most noticeable along the borders. It also has paper residue on the blank back from being pasted into a book. Overall Vg condition.
