Kawakami was the greatest hitter of his generation. The "God of Batting" terrorized Japanese pitching for 21 seasons. This five card lot provides a nice selection of cards featuring the great Kawakami. The cards are (top row, left to right), Uncatalogued B&W Bromide from the era 1947-1949, c.1957 uncatalogued menko from a non-sport/multisport set, 1952/53 JGA 28 Yakyu Shonen Game Card (scarce--R4--10 or fewer known in Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide), (bottom row, left to right) 1949 JGA 18 Yamakatsu Game Card, 1952 JCM 8 Menko Card.

Size: Range--1 3/8" x 1 5/8" to 2 3/4" x 3 1/2".

Condition: Cards are Nm and Nm to Mt except for the c.1957 card which is Vg/Ex.
