In 2000, Enatsu was voted the best pitcher in the history of Japanese baseball. His 206 wins and 193 saves were accompanied by en enigmatic personality. Despite six consecutive strikeout titles, he played for five teams in 10 years. Enatsu signed this photo in Japanese with a gold marker, and added the inscription "MVP 79". Baseball Magazine Co. (BBM) held a private signing with several players in the fall of 1998. The regular edition of this autographed photo was limited to 100 signed and numbered copies.. This rare example is an artist proof numbered AP3 at lower right. There were only five artist proofs made for this photograph.
