Kazuhiro Kiyohara's autograph has been one of the most sought-after among 500 home run club members. He was Pacific League Rookie of the Year in 1986 and was a seven time all star. He is fifth in all time home runs with 525. He is one of only five Japan Pro Baseball players to have surpassed 2,000 hits, 500 home runs and 1,500 RBI. In 2016, eight years after his retirement, Kiyohara was once again in the news, as he was arrested for possession of illegal drugs, and subsequently received a suspended sentence.

The ball is an official Leonard Coleman National League baseball. In addition to his signature in black marker, Kiyohara has included his uniform number "5" which he wore after signing with the Yomiuri Giants prior to the 1997 season. Since Coleman's tenure ended in 1999, we have ascribed a late 90s date to the item. Kiyohara played in the 1998 U.S. Major League All Stars Tour of Japan, so this ball may have been autographed at that time.

Size: Regular baseball size

Condition: The signature grades 9 out of 10. The ball is Nm/Mt.
