Diecut menko have always been quite popular with Japanese baseball card collectors. This set has always been particularly well received because unlike many late 1940s diecut menko issues, the hand drawn images in this set bear clear
resemblances to the players depicted. Nine Japan Hall of Famers are represented in this set. They are: (top row, left to right) Tetsuharu Kawakami, Hiroshi Oshita, Tokuji Iida, Kazuto Tsuruoka, Kaoru Betto, (second row, left to right)
Fumio Fujimura, Noboru Aota, Makoto Kozuru, Shigeru Chiba. Non-HOFers in this lot include (second row right) Shinpei Ichii, (bottom row, left to right) Junji Nakatani, Ryohei Moriya, Torao Ooka, Satoru Sugiyama.
Size: Each card is 1 3/16" x 2 5/8".
Condition: Mostly Ex to Ex/Mt due to minor creasing and chipping, primarily on the backs.
