In 1951, a team of U.S. Major League baseball all stars traveled to Japan. Facing Japan Pro Baseball opposition, the team rolled to a 13-1-1 record during the series. The three U.S. stars who were the standout performers during the
series are featured on this large sized card. Mel Parnell went 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA. Bill Werle was 3-0, 1.54. Dino Restelli batted .358 with three homers. This is the first example that we have ever encountered of this premium card that
was originally a second prize winner on a display sheet, as seen by the glue mark on the blank back.
