These special, large size, first and third prize winner cards were associated with a display sheet for the JBR 26 bromide set. Both examples featured here are third year premium cards of Japan's greatest pitcher, Masaichi Kaneda (HOF). Kaneda leads Japan Pro Baseball in practically every lifetime pitching statistic, including 400 wins and 4,490 strikeouts. Both cards are blank backed.

Size: First Prize Card--7" x 10". Third prize card--1 1/2" x 4 1/2".

Condition: First prize card--would be Near Mint, but for a dot of glue residue and some very minor darkening along the top portion of the right border. The third prize card is Nm/Mt with 75/25 centering left to right and 65/35 centering top to bottom. On the back, the card shows evidence of having been attached to a display sheet. However, all third prize cards in the set were issued in this manner and have similar paper and glue marks.
