These special, large size, first and third prize winner cards were associated with a display sheet for the JBR 26 bromide set. Both examples featured here are second year premium cards of the Hawaiian who revolutionized Japanese baseball, Wally Yonamine. The former San Francisco 49ers running back brought a more agressive and dynamic style to Japan Pro Baseball and helped lead the Yomiuri Giants to eight Central League titles during his 10 seasons with the club. Both cards are blank backed.

Size: First Prize Card--7" x 10". Third prize card--1 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Condition: The front of the larger card contains numerous small flecks of chipping. The back exhibits minor browning or yellowing in spots. The smaller card grades Nm/Mt. On the back, the card shows evidence of having been attached to a display sheet. However, all third prize cards in the set were issued in this manner and have similar paper and glue marks.
