Taihoh, a native of Taiwan, was a star first baseman/outfielder for the Dragons and Tigers during his 14 year Japan Pro Baseball career (1989-2002). In 1995 the Dragons held a part of their spring training in Arizona. On February 16th, Taihoh autographed this Mizuno Pro game used bat. He signed his name in Japanese using a black marker, adding his uniform number "55" and the notation "1995.2.16 in ARIZONA" in English. His uniform number is also seen on the bat knob. Japan Pro Baseball game used equipment is quite difficult to obtain in comparison to U.S. Major League game used items, as it was regarded as property of the team. Thus, it was usually considered rude for a player or anyone else to remove equipment from the locker room. Taihoh, suffering from leukemia, passed away in January 2015 at the age of 51.

Size: 35", 33.5 oz.

Condition: The bat shows very mild use. The autograph grades 10 of 10.
