JF 4 cards were imported into the U.S. in the late 1960s principally by a member of the U.S. armed forces, the late Mel Bailey. The cards were made available to the
fledgling U.S. baseball card hobby until the suply ran out in the early 1970s. About 125 sets were imported. Cards that are not part of this imported horde are rarely
encountered today, either in the U.S. or Japan. The three players included in this lot are Japan Baseball Hall of Fame Members Michio Nishizawa, Yoshio Yoshida and
Yoshinori Hirose.
Size: Each card is 2 3/8: x 3 3/8".
Condition: Yoshida and Hirose are graded PSA 7 (NM). Nishizawa is graded PSA 6 (Ex/Mt).
