The Orioles toured Japan following the 1971 season. They played 18 games against various teams of Japan Pro Baseball stars, winning 13 and losing 2, with three games ending in ties. This poster is a promotional piece for the game of October 24, 1971 between the Orioles and Yomiuri Giants. The Orioles won the game 10-1 behind the pitching of Pat Dobson. The Giants' only run came on a homer by the immortal Sadaharu Oh. Pepsi Cola, whose advertisement is seen on the poster, was one of the Tour sponsors. Other sponsors listed on the poster are the Yomiuri Shimbun (newspaper), Hochi Shimbun (newspaper) and Miyasaka Television. According to the poster, seats ranged in price from 100 yen to 1800 yen ( approximately 33 cents to $6.00).

Condition: Ex due to mild staining at upper right corner and along right edge. Also very minor tears at right edge.
