Lot Description  

Boken Oh (Adventure King) magazine inserted this postcard into one of their monthly magazines that was produced between 1955 and 1959. We know this because of the uniform style being worn. The Swallows team name, Kaneda and "pitcher" are printed in Japanese at lower left. The name of the magazine is at upper left. "Prize" (or premium) is printed within the orange circle. This is a beautiful rendering of Japan Pro Baseball’s greatest pitcher ever.

Size: 3 11/16" x 5 5/16"
