Lot Description  

This was part of a set of postcards issued as a furoku (special gift) which was included with the August 1929 issue of Shonen Club Magazine. The other postcards in the set featured non-sports themes. Ruth is referred to as the "Home Run King" in Japanese on the postcard. The condition of this postcard is far better than most that we have seen in the past.
