The Undogaho Magazine bromide card set, published by Toyokuni Sha, was printed in two varieties. Fronts were printed in either brown tint or green tint. Additionally, both blank back cards and cards with text on the back have been seen. No matter what player appears on the front, the text on the back is the same, and has nothing to do with the player pictured. It is merely general baseball information along with a blank scoreboard. Shigeru Mizuhara is known for his legendary lifetime rivalry with Osamu Mihara. Both grew up on Shikoku Island. Mizuhara attended Keio U., while Mihara attended arch rival Waseda U. During the war, Mizuhara was captured and spent four years in a Russian POW camp. Upon returning to Japan, Mizuhara replaced Mihara as Yomiuri Giants manager.

Size: Each card is 3 5/8" x 5 1/2"

Condition: Both cards are Vg/Ex to Ex.
