This item is one of the more unusual pieces of baseball related memorabilia that we have ever offered!

On December 1, 1966, Sadaharu Oh married his first wife, Kyoko. This copper fondue pot was apparently one of the wedding gifts! The plate at the bottom is inscribed, "Sadaharu Oh, Kyoko, December 1, 1966". The set consists of the fondue pot, lid, stand, heating element and plate.

Sadaharu Oh and wife Kyoko had three children together. Unfortunately, she died from stomach cancer in 2001. Ironically, Oh also contracted stomach cancer, and his stomach was removed in 2006. In 2018, Oh finally remarried.
