Despite the 2020 copyright on BBM Glory Miyabi cards and PSA's listing on their pop report, the 2020 Glory Miyabi set was actually issued in early 2021. The 2021 season was new Los Angeles Dodgers super signing Yoshinobu Yamamoto's breakout year in Japan Pro Baseball. He went 18-5 with a microscopic 1.39 ERA. He won the Pacific League MVP award. He won the Sawamura Award (Japan Cy Young). He won a Best 9 award. He even won a Golden Glove award for his fielding prowess on the mound! He was just as good over the next two seasons. No wonder the Dodgers shelled out so much money to sign him!
