The 1967 Kabaya-Leaf Set is legendary among collectors both in Japan and the United States. This was the first Japanese attempt at American style baseball cards, and has remained one of the most popular Japanese series ever. This is the first time we have ever had the opportunity to offer a JF 4 1967 Kabaya Leaf wrapper as a single lot.

Until about five years ago, we had never seen an example of the wrapper in which these iconic cards were packed for distribution to customers. The wrapper contains the legend K&L Baseball Card Gum (Bubble Gum). The text on the back states "Two pro baseball player cards", along with the company name and address. Anyone who owns a collection of JF 4 cards deserves to have this wrapper in his or her collection.
