This scarce Shigeo Nagashima diecut cardboard calendar was inserted into the January 1959 issue of Shonen Book. This book went on sale in December of 1958, Nagashima's rookie season. There is a wheel attached to the back which allows the user to set the calendar to any desired date between the years of 1958 and 1964. A facsimile autograph is printed on Nagashima's right leg. It is a very early Nagashima autograph type, predating the style that came into prominence in the 1960s. Over the past 35 years, we have previously offered only four of these calendars.
