The style of Daiei Stars uniform that Starffin is wearing in this image was worn by the team only during the 1949 and 1950 seasons, thus our approximation for the date of issue. This card was awarded to the owner of a regular size card in an unknown set that had a first prize notation printed by the manufacturer on the back. This card is one of only two examples known in the hobby. Both examples have missing pieces.
