Iroha Karuta is a game consisting of pairs of cards--a picture card and a reading card. Players of the game match the picture on the player card with the text found on the reading card. 23 different cards depict Japan Hall of Famers-Victor Starffin (Russia), Bozo Wakabayashi (Hawaii) (2-diff.), Tetsuharu Kawakami (2 diff.), Hiroshi Oshita, Kaoru Betto (3 diff.), Michio Nishizawa (2 diff.), Shunichi Amachi, Shigeru Chiba, Tokuji Iida (2 diff.), Hideo Fujimoto, Michinori Tsubouchi, Kazuto Tsuruoka, Shigeru Sugishita, Juzo Sanada, Makoto Kozuru, Fumio Fujimura and Takehiko Bessho.
