Only three copies of this large size card are known in the hobby!

This color card depicts Kawakami wearing a Yomiuri Giants uniform used only in 1951 and 1952. The signature on the card is a facsimile. In 1951, Kawakami led the Central League in batting with a .377 average and won the league MVP award. The Giants won the Japan Series. In 1952, the Giants won the Japan Series, but Kawakami batted "only" .320 during the regular season.
