Here's something you don't see every day. Someone mounted a JBR 120d 4th Prize card of Kaoru Betto in a frame, took a photo of it, and then had the Hanshin Tigers superstar autograph the photo! A JPBL (Japan Pro Baseball League) logo is found at lower right, just above the frame portion of the photo, so it could be that Japan Pro Baseball was somehow involved in the photo taking. We just don't know.
In any case, this is a beautiful autographed photo of Betto, who starred for the Tigers and Orions from 1948 to 1957. He won the Pacific League's first MVP award while leading the Orions to the first Japan Series championship. Signed in blue fountain pen.
Size: 4 3/8" x 6"
Condition: The photo/card is Vg on the front, with some ink writing and paper chipping on the blank back. The autograph grades 6 to 7 out of 10.
