This 20 page program, featuring the Major League All-Stars who toured Japan following the 1931 season was a furoku (insert) found in a November 1931 edition of the Yomiuri Shimbun (newspaper). The magazine includes striking full page photos of each U.S. player who participated in the Tour. The U.S. cast of players included Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig, Lefty Grove, Mickey Cochrane, George "High Pockets" Kelly, Frankie Frisch, Rabbit Maranville, Al Simmons and Japan Hall of Famer, Lefty O'Doul. The players' names are printed in English, but most text is in Japanese. The U.S. all star players won all 17 games against their Japanese rivals.
