We do not know who produced this postcard, but we are fairly certain that it was printed in the late 70s, very likely in 1976 or 1977 when Sadaharu Oh was pursuing Babe Ruth's lifetime home run total, and later Hank Aaron's lifetime mark. "Gambare Oh San" (Keep it up, Mr. Oh) is printed in a semi-circle at right of the image. The rectangular box at upper left contains Oh's vital statistics. "Yomiuri Giants, Sadaharu Oh Player" is printed in Japanese at lower right. Mr. Oh is pictured in his world famous flamingo batting stance.
