These rare cards are the Japanese equivalent of the Aurovision records of American baseball players that are so popular with US collectors. However, we feel that the Japanese product is far more attractive. The cards are known according to the Japanese text on the back as "Voice Bromides." These 45 rpm baseball cards feature the voice and image of Hall of Fame members Noboru Akiyama, Yasumitsu Toyoda, Kazuhiro Yamauchi and Yoshio Yoshida, along with star player Sadayuki Tokutake. While the Sadaharu Oh and Shigeo Nagashima cards in the set have been seen with some frequency, cards of other Hall of Fame members are exceedingly rare. We have seen fewer than five examples of any of the cards in this lot.
