This is the first time we have ever had the pleasure to offer an example of this card for sale or auction. After the 1950 season, Lefty O'Doul accompanied Joe DiMaggio on a Tour of Japan. This card emanates from that Tour. The Yankee Clipper is pictured on this large size card at the end of his classic, picture perfect swing. The card was originally a second prize winner, attached by the manufacturer to a display sheet for an unknown card set. "DiMaggio": is printed in Japanese katakana at bottom center. Blank back card.

Size: Approximately 4 1/4" x 5 3/4"

Condition: There is damage to the card along the top border. This damage may have occurred when the card was removed from the display sheet from which it was originally attached. The area of original attachment can be seen along the top of the card on the reverse side. Also, a notation in a circle has been written in ink on the back.
