JBR 80a cards were produced to commemorate the 1949 San Francisco Seals Tour of Japan. There are five different types of JBR 80a cards. Each type is approximately the same size as the others. All five sets contain the same images on the front. Most of the difference lies in the Japanese text on the front and its placement.

There are two different images of Lefty O'Doul in JBR 80a. This is the "hands on knees" pose. It looks like he's coaching at third base. O'Doul managed the San Francisco Seals from 1935 to 1951.
