This is only the second time that we have seen an
Eiishiro Yoshie single signed item. He
has signed his name boldly in English script with a blue pen.
Eishiro Yoshie (1922-1986) was born in Vancouver,
Canada. He went to high school in Japan and participated in the National High
School Baseball Championships at Koshien. He then moved on to Waseda U., where
he was a student during war years of the early 1940s. After graduation, he
played in Japan amateur baseball, until joining Japan Pro Baseball. 1949 was
Yoshie's second of three seasons as a pitcher playing Japan Pro Baseball. In 1949, he was a member of the Tokyu Flyers.
