We have never seen this card until recently!  It was originally issued as a 2^nd prize winner card on a display sheet.  We are almost certain that the Yomiuri Giants team pictured is the 1950 edition.  The team appears to be receiving instructions from the unidentified man in a suit.  Players clearly visible in the image include Hall of Famers Tetsuharu Kawakami, Hideo Fujimoto, Shigeru Chiba, Noboru Aota and Hiroshi Nakao.  Also seen is Canadian pitcher Eishiro Yoshie.

Blank back card

Size:  Approximately 4 1/2” x 6”

Condition:  The image is clear and without any wear or damage.  The only wear is at the corners.  The card would be Vg+, except that a previous owner has written the number “3” in ink on the blank back.  The back also contains paper and glue residue along one edge, since the card was originally mounted on a display sheet by the manufacturer.  All examples of this card will exhibit such residue.
