This card was part of a 48
card set originally issued by King magazine in 12 different four card panels as
a furoku (bonus item). Thus, all single cards are, by definition, hand cut from
a sheet. The card features an image of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig at a rodeo
during a barnstorming tour, with Ruth waving his hat to the crowd. The two
played against each other on separate teams, called the "Bustin
Babe's" and "Larrupin Lou's". Although this famous image was
photographed in 1928, the card was actually produced in 1929.
