The 1958 Heibon All Star Bromide set was issued as three uncut sheets, each containing 15 cards. The cards were inserted into the September 1958 issue of Heibon Magazine, with the three panels held in place by a large cigar band type wrapper. 42 of the cards in the set are non-sport. One depicts Japanese sumo yokozuna (grand champion) Wakanohana. The other baseball player found in the set is Masaichi Kaneda. Owners of the panels later cut the panels into single cards.

We offer here the key card in the set. This is a rookie card of Shigeo Nagashima. The card front contains a nice, pure card headshot, while the text on the back contains personal information in Japanese. Aside from Nagashima's height, weight, birthplace, birthdate, etc., we find out that he likes Chanbara movies, steak and tempura.

This Nagashima rookie card is not seen often.
