Sadaharu Oh was inducted into the Japan baseball Hall of Fame in 1994. As is the case in the U.S. Baseball Hall of Fame, a bronze plaque commemorating Oh and his achievements was commissioned. Additionally, 3,000 smaller commemorative bronze plaques were issued for collectors. The Japanese information on the bottom portion of this plaque duplicates the text found on the original. It details Oh's 55 HR in a season and 868 in his career, his nine MVP awards, his 18 years named to the Best 9 team, etc. The plaque is felt backed. Originally, a wooden stand was attached to the plaque. However, the stand has been removed. This is the next best thing to owning Oh's original HOF plaque which hangs at the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame at the Tokyo Dome.
Size: 5" x 7" x 1"
Condition: Would be Ex/Mt but the stand which was originally attached to the back has been removed.
