Only 12 different cards from this set have been discovered to date. The size, photography and paper stock are identical to the 1958 JBR 98 and 1959 JBR 59 Hinomaru bromide sets. However, the cards in this set are more sepia toned. Not enough examples from this set have been found to include it in the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, but suffice it to say, if the set is ever included in the Guide, it will initially be assigned a scarcity factor of R5 (five or fewer copies known of each card).
Of the literally hundreds of Shigeo Nagashima rookie cards, this is truly one of the most difficult to find. Here is your chance to add a copy to your collection.
Blank backed card.
Size: 1 7/8" x 3"
Condition: Vg/Ex. There is extra paper and glue attached to the blank back, most likely due to the fact that the manufacturer issued the card mounted to a display sheet.
