This is only the second example of this giant baseball card that we have seen in our 33 years of buying, selling and auctioning such items. Fujimura is wearing a uniform donned by Osaka Tigers players only in 1950 and 1951. The text within the lower border states "Central League Tigers Fujimura 3rd Base". Since league notation is generally found only on 1950 cards, we will tentatively assume that 1950 is the year of issue.
Fujimura is seen here holding an award that he has just received. We assume that the award represents his winning the 1950 Central League batting title with a .362 average, but we are not sure. His 39 homers and 146 RBI in 1950 were also impressive totals, but did not lead the league. In any case, the card is undoubtedly a first prize winner card associated with a display sheet. Blank backed.
