According to the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 2.1, cards from the scarce red border version of JCM 24 Hoshi Gangu are valued at 20 times the price of the regular white bordered cards. Obviously, these cards are quite rare.

The card on offer here is one of the key cards in the set, as it features 400 game winning pitcher, Masaichi Kaneda, with Mr. Giants, Shigeo Nagashima in the background. We have been able to offer an example of this card only one time in the past, and that was 12 years ago. They just don't come around too often. In fact, several of the 20 cards in the set have never been seen with the red border.

This is a special card from one of the most popular sets among collectors of Japanese baseball cards, and would be a cornerstone of any collection, especially a collection of Nagashima or Kaneda cards.
