Of all Japanese card sets, this is the one most frequently requested by our clients. We have again acquired this complete mask card set for our auction. This set is truly a unique example of Japanese traditional artistic sensibility applied to baseball cards. These large, colorful, lifesize diecuts can be punched out at the eyes and ears so children can wear them. Japan Hall of Famers in the set include Tetsuharu Kawakami (God of Batting), Hiroshi Oshita (Kawakami's rival), Kaoru Betto (Gentleman of Baseball), Takehiko Bessho (300 game winner), Michio Nishizawa (major leaguer at age 15) and Jiro Noguchi (won 40 games in a season). Other players are Yasuya Hondo and Kiyoshi Sugiura.

Size: Each mask is approximately 5" x 7 1/2".

Condition: Cards: Nm/Mt or Mint. Nothing is punched out or folded.
