Leroy Jarvis was a catcher, born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, who played briefly for the Pirates and Dodgers between 1944 and 1947. He debuted for the Dodgers at the age of 17. In 1949, he joined the San Francisco Seals, and participated in their Tour of Japan. With the Seals, he split catching duties with Roy Partee. He moved on to Kansas City during the 1950 season, retiring from baseball in 1956 after several more minor league campaigns. This card is the only example known to the hobby. Blank backed card.
