Each pack of JF 55 Jintan Gum also contained one plastic card. The front contains the player's facsimile signature below the team flag and above the player's surname, uniform number and position. Each player had cards issued in various colors. The front designs were identical for the different colors, while the back designs were slightly different depending on the color.

The eight cards in the lot are (top row, left to right) Isao Harimoto (HOF) variation, Masaichi Kaneda (HOF), Yoshinori Hirose (HOF), Kazuhiko Kondo (previously unknown) (bottom row, left to right) Yukio Osaki, Akiteru Kono (variation), Sadayuki Tokutake, Akiteru Kono (regular card).

The Harimoto card and one of the Kono cards contain a previously uncatalogued variation. Note when comparing the two cards of Kono that the regular card has the Braves logo embossed with no gold over the embossed image, while the variation card has a sunken logo with gold filling. The Harimoto variation is of the same type. This variation is not listed in the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 2.1. Also, the card of Kondo has never been seen in blue. Previously, only white and green versions were known.

Size: Each card is 3/4" x 2 3/4".

Condition: Most are Ex/Mt with some Nm and better. The Harimoto card has some flaking in the right portion of the team flag.
