This uncut panel represents the dawn of Japanese baseball card production. Here are 10 cards (8 different) from one of the earliest sets (if not the earliest set) of Japanese baseball cards ever issued. The cards are generic. Cards with player names did not show up on Japanese cards until a few years later. However we do see some Tokyo Big Six University themes in the set. Three cards picture players or students from Keio and Waseda Universities.

Size: Each card is 2 3/4" x 1 3/4". The uncut panel is 5 7/16" x 8 7/8".

Condition: The panel is Ex to Ex/Mt with spots of mild yellow staining on the backs of some cards. A number of the cards would be Mint if cut from the sheet as single cards.
