Hall of Famer Masaichi Kaneda of the Kokotetsu Swallows is featured on this scarce issue. The Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 2.1 by Gary Engel assigns a scarcity factor of R5 to this set, indicating that five or fewer examples of this card are known. Ace gum cards are often miscut at the bottom. This example is cut much better than average, as "Ace Baseball Gum", printed in the red Japanese text, within the horizontal strip along the bottom, is nearly completely visible. The reverse features a fist from the paper/scissors/rock game.

Masaichi Kaneda may be the best lefthanded pitcher ever to play baseball anywhere in the world. His 400 wins and 4,490 strikeouts stand as a testament to his ability.

Size: 1 1/4" x 1 3/8"

Condition: Fair due to heavy creasing, especially horizontal creases near the center.
