The text at the left border of this card identifies the subject as "O'Doul manager". The text at right reads, "Seals Team". Lefty O'Doul had already participated as a player during the U.S. Major League All Star Tours of Japan in 1931 and 1934 before bringing his San Francisco Seals to Japan for one of the first postwar cultural exchanges between Japan and the U.S. O'Doul actually was the starting pitcher in the final game of the Tour, going three innings and giving up two runs in a 4-2 13 inning victory over the All Tokyo Big Six University team. Future Japan Hall of Fame pitcher Junzo Sekine went the distance for the University team in that contest. This is a rarely seen card. Blank backed.
