Sakae Nakajima was a right fielder for Rikkio U. of the Japanese Big Six University League in the late 1920s and early 1930s. After playing as a reserve in Fall 1928, he burst onto the scene in Spring 1929 with a .393 batting average. He followed that up by hitting .304 in Fall 1929. Unfortunately, his average tailed off to .255 in Spring 1930, relegating him to part time duty for the rest of his university career. He never played professional baseball.
